The Republic Day celebration was held with great pride and patriotic fervor on 26th January at St. Lawrence English Medium School. The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song invoking God’s blessings, followed by a warm welcome to the dignitaries and the gathering.

The Correspondent, Rev. Fr. George Thomas D’Souza, ceremoniously hoisted the National Flag and addressed the audience, emphasizing the significance of the Indian Constitution and the core values of unity, equality, and freedom that shape our nation.


The Administrator, CA Pritish Burton Dsa, delivered an inspiring Republic Day message, motivating students to grow into responsible, disciplined, and committed citizens of the country.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the Headmistress, Mrs. Sandra Lobo; the Management Committee members, Mr. Joel Dsa and Mr. Ivan Menezes; and the PTA President, Mrs. Surekha, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and students. Students actively participated in the celebration through a thought-provoking speech and a melodious patriotic song that filled the atmosphere with national pride, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of unity. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable. The event was gracefully compered by Rifa of the 9th standard.
